Knitted garments have natural stretch. Consider how much ease (extra room) you prefer when choosing your size.
Different materials have different drape and stretch. Wool has more memory while cotton is more structured.
As handmade items, slight variations (1-2cm) may occur. This adds to the unique character of your piece.
Reference points for accurate measurements
Measure around the fullest part of your bust/chest, keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor. Don't pull too tight—the tape should be snug but not constricting.
Measure around the natural waistline (typically the narrowest part of your torso). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20cm (8 inches) below your natural waist. Keep the tape measure parallel to the floor.
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other, across the back. This measurement is especially important for cardigans and sweaters.
With your arm slightly bent, measure from the shoulder point to your wrist bone. For cardigans, add 2-3cm for comfortable sleeve length.
